One person’s support can make all the difference for someone facing an unplanned pregnancy. As a volunteer, you become the hands and feet of Christ, bringing love, hope, and life-changing support to those in need.

Here are the Steps
1. Attend Orientation
Our orientations are every first Monday of each month from 6:00pm -7:30pm at our Ash Street Clinic. Email your contact info to ashley@lifeservices.org to reserve your spot!
2. Fill Out Application
Applications can be picked up in person at our Ash Street Location: 2659 North Ash Street, Spokane, WA 99205 or you can download the application here.
3. Interview & Background Check
Each of our volunteers goes through an interview to find if/where they will fit best within our ministry. You have the option to serve as a People Volunteer or Project Volunteer.
Ways to Volunteer
People Volunteers
People Volunteers work directly or indirectly with clients or residents, providing vital support and care. Roles include:
Nurse – Use your skills as a Registered Nurse to administer pregnancy tests and address the medical concerns of clients seeking answers and reassurance.
Mentor – Support and guide individuals by participating in monthly community support groups (3MG - Third Monday Gathering) or Fatherhood nights. Mentors connect weekly with their mentee, offering encouragement and walking alongside them in their journey. Life Services provides training and ongoing support, with the hope that these relationships foster long-term involvement in a healthy church community.
Kids Corner – Provide a safe and caring environment for children while parents attend appointments, mentoring sessions, or classes. Your presence allows them to focus on receiving the support they need.

Project Volunteers
Project Volunteers play a key role in supporting the ministry by assisting with outreach and administrative tasks. Opportunities include:
Table Host – Represent Life Services at outreach events by hosting a table or booth, sharing our mission with the community.
Admin Team – Assist with essential tasks like stuffing newsletters, counting baby bottles, and helping with other administrative projects that keep the ministry running smoothly.
Group Projects – Bring your church, small group, or organization together to serve at Life Services. Group volunteers help maintain our facilities, ensuring a welcoming and well-cared-for space for clients seeking support.
