Have you missed your period, or, are you feeling a little off? Wondering if you're pregnant? You're not alone in this. Life Services offers a safe, supportive place to find clear answers and the guidance you need.
1. Personal Consultation
Every appointment starts with a personal conversation and pregnancy testing with one of our nurses. You'll receive a urine test with quick results, and if needed, we can provide a blood test with results ready in 24–48 hours—ensuring accurate confirmation.
2. Pregnancy Confirmation
If your initial test comes back negative, there's a chance it's simply too early. We'll recommend retesting in about a week or arrange a comprehensive evaluation with our Nurse Midwife. If pregnancy is confirmed through the second test, we'll clearly talk through what that means and help you understand your next steps.
3. Next Steps
After confirming pregnancy, we'll take time to go through your available options. If you choose to continue care at Life Services, we can offer an ultrasound based on eligibility factors like your last menstrual period (LMP) or blood HCG levels. If you'd prefer outside medical care, we'll happily provide a referral to a trusted local OB/GYN to support you in moving forward.
Follow-up Care
Regardless of the path you choose, you'll always have our support. Your nurse will regularly connect with you throughout your pregnancy—typically after your first OB visit, at 20 weeks, and again after delivery—to make sure you feel supported. Together, you'll create a personalized follow-up plan designed around your specific needs.
