Maternity Home ProgramMaternity-Home-Garden

Pregnant and homeless? Living in an unsafe or stressful situation? Life Services’ Paula’s House Maternity Home offers housing and resources to help young pregnant women plan and work toward stability and independence.

You will receive assistance and encouragement for completing school, working on vocational goals, obtaining prenatal care and instruction, and goal setting. We will help you tailor a plan based on your needs, strengths, and goals.

At Paula’s House women are given an opportunity to start over and give their babies a chance for a healthy start. We provide a safe, nurturing, family-style environment where women learn to trust, forgive, and build healthy relationships.

Life Services’ Paula’s House Maternity Home is a state-licensed group home providing safe housing in a family setting for single, pregnant women. Preference is given to women 21 years of age and younger. Women over 21 will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Spiritual guidance is available for those who are interested in growing in their faith. But we do not discriminate based on religious beliefs.

Woman-with-babyAfter Care Program

Client Testimony

Dear Little One… I want the very best for you. I want you to have a better life than I did. I don’t want you to feel down because you’re a “rape baby.” I hope you feel extra loved that I am being 100% selfless with my decisions and sacrificing so much for you. But it’s not a tough thing though… I do it because of the crazy love I already have for you, my beautiful baby. I hope you’ll always know how much you’re loved.             -Written by a 15-year-old who is looking into adoption.
