Programs...
iCHOICE Sexual Wellness and Pregnancy Resources Centers, under the umbrella of Life Services, provide free pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, early prenatal care by licensed medical professionals, sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment, education and long-term mentorship, referrals for professional counseling, a 24-hour Helpline (1-888-486-HOPE), and on-going medical care, financial assistance, and adoption referrals.
The name iCHOICE is significant in that Life Services believes every person has the right to make an informed choice, which can only be done after receiving complete and accurate information.
Maternity Home Program
Pregnant and homeless? Living in an unsafe or stressful situation? Life Services’ Paula’s House Maternity Home offers housing and resources to help young pregnant women plan and work toward stability and independence.
You will receive assistance and encouragement for completing school, working on vocational goals, obtaining prenatal care and instruction, and goal setting. We will help you tailor a plan based on your needs, strengths, and goals.
At Paula’s House women are given an opportunity to start over and give their babies a chance for a healthy start. We provide a safe, nurturing, family-style environment where women learn to trust, forgive, and build healthy relationships.
Life Services’ Paula’s House Maternity Home is a state-licensed group home providing safe housing in a family setting for single, pregnant women. Preference is given to women 21 years of age and younger. Women over 21 will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Spiritual guidance is available for those who are interested in growing in their faith. But we do not discriminate based on religious beliefs.
After Care Program
If you are already parenting, or upon the birth of your child you may decide to take part in our After Care Foster Program that provides housing through State Licensed After Care families along with case management and continued support.
Young Moms’ Support Group
If you are under 21 and parenting, the Young Moms’ Support Group offers a chance for you to meet other women who can relate to your same journey. Meeting three times a month, dinner and child care are provided on location, while you have a chance to connect with others.
